Tuesday Post: Toothpaste For Dinner

July 8, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Another webcomic post!

Since the trend my Tuesday posts (if anybody ever noticed) is following the webcomic path, then here’s another one of ‘em!

(At least not another Rafa fan girl post, no? But I can’t get over him and his victory! My office desktop picture has Rafa, and the poster wall on my side of the room has a Rafa newspaper clipping tacked.)

I love Toothpaste For Dinner’s just-doodled, anybody-can-make-a-similar-one look. (Sorry for the multi-hyphenates. So sue me.) At times the humor gets too American (of course I can also ay that Beerkada gets too Pinoy at times), but still funny nonetheless. As I’ve read in a blog before, TFD ’s also a hit-or-miss thing. But with the webcomic’s mother lode of an archive (a TFD comic post everyday since 2002), you’ll be amazed how Sharpie drawn characters and witty lines would keep you clicking and and scrolling. So it goes.

and my all-time favorite:

I’m such a sucker for webcomics. This one by Nicholas Gurewitch reminds me of Angus Oblong’s Creepy Susie, some twisted children’s book not meant for children.

Migraine sucks. I hate how I become sensitive to light and extra grouchy.

I want to dis some people now. Ha ha. Maybe in my other journal. :p

Edit: Oh-em-gee. I think I’m doing the identity for another new magazine. (Another magazine!) Exciting, but kinda scary. I don’t know if I should get the job. Let’s see what happens…
