Yes, another one of ‘em life iyornies!
Woke up at 2pm Sunday only to get grub (roasted eggplant and tomatoes mixed with bagoong, kimchi and noodles. What a confused menu, haha), felt dizzy the next, then slept some more only to wake up at 7pm! Just in time for dinner. To my whim, I wanted to get a mani-pedi in the dead of night, but of course all salons were raring to shun customers during the weekend’s end.
It’s 2am now, and I can barely go back to sleep! So here’s me!
I must say, it’s been a hellish week at work. Saturday had me leave the office at 10:30 pm. Say mo? I’ll be surprised if our June issue even comes out in June! So I guess it’s only apt that I overslept on Sunday.
Though I’ve been stretched like a carabao (labo) at work, I’m still pretty excited for this next project I’ll be handling, which will be out on stores (hopefully!) by August 08. And yes, it’s another fasyon magazine! Fun!
Eighties Tunewhore
Since Paco hasn’t returned my most of my CDs for the longest time now (ahem, ahem. haha), I had to ransack stacks of jewel cases for CDs I haven’t placed in my CD bag. Lookie what I found!

I remember buying this pre-owned CD back in early 2000’s. (Haha, parang pre-historic, ‘no?)
The last time I played this was, erm, I don’t really remember.
I love the CD cover design with the translucent color blocks on top of Siouxsie’s face in black and white!
So eighties.
I got worked up hearing Christine and its super nonsensical lyrics, “Christine, the strawberry girl/ Christine, banana split lady” and “Now she’s in purple/ Now she’s a turtle”. And of course, Hong Kong Garden and Happy House! Super fun! In retrospect, I don’t get how I tend to feel sad when I was listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees before. So out of place goth-emo, eek.
Okay, I will try to get some sleep, again. Need to be in the office at 7am… Weeee!!!
